Summer is slowly winding down and especially here in New England we will miss the warm weather. BUT, there is good news on the horizon, Autumn/Fall is our next season!
Personally, I think there are many reasons why it is the best season but I will provide a few reasons as to why I think that below. Despite the lowering temperatures and the shorter daylight many great things occur in this season.
Where Does The Word Come From?
There are many terms or ways to say Autumn. Commonly referred to as Fall/Autumn in the English language the word has both French and Latin origins.
According to Wikipedia, in the 17th Century English Settlers in the British Colonies of North America used the language and gradually eliminated the word "Fall" from Britain and more and more common in North America.
What Happens in Autumn/Fall?
Whether it's the lowered cool temperatures, or the smell of Pumpkin treats or maybe even the spooky events of Halloween or maybe it's getting together with family and feasting on Thanksgiving while watching some Football, Autumn has something for everyone.
So despite the Summer winding down and change of seasons slowly happening there are great holidays ahead of us and numerous opportunities to see your loved ones. So get out there, spend time with your friends/family and enjoy the seasons. Because every family needs time together to reconnect and navigate this event we call life. From our BPT family to you and yours enjoy the end of summer and we will see you in Fall!
