Now a days with rising costs for health insurances both employers and employees may be shying away from using or obtaining health insurance. Despite this Physical Therapy care may be needed and that is why more and more clinics are offering Self Pay or cash based PT.
How Does It Work?
At our Broadway Physical Therapy Office we offer Self Pay as an option and this is how it works.
1) Call and schedule an appointment
2) Pricing for our Self Pay Rate is always changing so call our office for best pricing @ 1-781-284-0559
3) Know what is expected of your visit and what you need for your visit.
4) Get Assessed by the PT and obtain a personalized treatment plan
5) Ask Questions. With paying cash always make sure you fully understand the plan
6) Perform your treatment plan in it's entirety. Typically a Therapist may say 2 times for 1 month but I've seen many people stop early due to either feeling better or due to the cost. The BEST suggestion I can make is to make sure if you're given 8 visits to use all 8 visits to achieve best results.
What's the Cost?
The cost typically depends clinic to clinic as treatment techniques/visit times differ with every clinic. If you are interested in self pay PT always call your local PT office to get the most up to date pricing.
In Conclusion, whether you have Health Insurance or not, you should never have to suffer and live with pain. Treatment is available at most clinics, and everyone deserves a chance to feel better and live a better life.
